Ethiopia: THW extends operational area
THW’s operation in Ethiopia is extended by another refugee camp. In Bokolmanyo, THW supports staff of the Refugee Agency of the United Nations (UNHCR) in building measures. Therefore, an additional number of 40,000 refugees profit from Germany’s humanitarian help in Ethiopia.

Bokolmanyo is situated about 100 kilometres north of Dolo Ado. Since the beginning of August, THW staff from the foreign unit Standing Engineering Capacity have been deployed there. The THW experts repair and maintain vehicles and equipment of the UN and other relief organisations, see to water supply in the refugee camps and support the building of sanitation.
